Using an Ice bath is your responsibility at all times. The idea is gradual exposure to familiarise yourself with the effects of the cold environment.
Traditional ice baths consist of adding ice to water.
Depending on the ratio of ice to water, the ice bath could be as high as 10 or 12C or 50 – 55F and suggested exposure time is between 10 to 15 minutes.
During the first 0-90 seconds, you may get the feeling that you would like to get out. Just calm yourself. Breath normally and try to see through this initial period.
When you feel the need to leave the Ice Bath do so.
